It wasn’t that bad, initially it’s a tad weird but it’s nothing that doesn’t go away or is unbearable. I’ll probably do it again.  One of the other reasons why I wanted to donate blood is that I want to know my blood type xD! I may just post when I get the result with what I am ;D

I finally got around to listening to both tracks from Kago Ai’s new single, her first after H!P. I haven’t been into H!P all that long so I didn’t really know about her before but after listening to this single, I’m definitely going to be pay attention!

no hesitAtion and Children of the night are both great songs. Children of the night listens like a lullaby, it’s so nice and smoothing and no hesitAtion seems perfect in how it’s like she’s singing about moving on in her career with ‘no hesitations’. It’s a really good single, so if you get the chance have a listen!

C-ute is the first Jpop group I ever got into and remain in my favourites today, even though I haven’t been following them for as long as it feels I have. I first heard about them around the time Sakura Chirari was released. I remember hearing someone fangirling about it and after watching the PV and thinking it was cute, I didn’t really think about them again. It was only after joining SnM’s H!P roleplay back in the day and being faced with the decision of choosing who I would be that C-ute popped up again for me. Sure, I’d heard and liked Ooki na Ai de Motenashite, but I had no idea who anyone was. After looking C-ute up on the PPN I was surprised at how young they all were. In the end, I chose Yajima Maimi for the sole reason that her birthday was almost exactly 1 month after mine. That was when it all started.

I think I really got into C-ute around the time of Tokkaiko Junjou, so I was a bit behind. Mostly when I think of C-ute I think of them as a group, not so much as individuals so I really need to familiarise myself with some of the girls I don’t pay as much attention to. I guess I should give a small rundown on my thoughts on the girls?

Yajima Maimi

Isn’t she pretty? Unlike what people would say, it was her voice that got me. The first time I heard her sing Natsu Doki Lipstick I thought it sounded horrible xD; Her age was so close to mine and I liked her so I really wanted to find something better than that from her. I found another performance of the song and I had no idea the amount of time that was between both performances but the improvement between the two blew me away. In a way I also look up to her, she’s approximately the same age as me and she’s been able to accomplish so much and is the leader of C-ute. I’m proud to say I liked her before I realised how pretty she was ;D

Umeda Erika

My first memories of Erika came from her being someone else’s favourite. I think the best thing about Erika is her personality. and this. It’s one of the most silly songs, but just look at the smile on her face! Thinking about it, Erika’s hard to describe for me but that doesn’t mean I like her any less xD!

Suzuki Airi

Airi! I’m glad I found that photo of her to use for this, it’s so incredibly adorable. I used to know Airi as ‘the girl who had the most lines.’  The only thing that’s changed is that Maimi gets just as many now xD; My love for Airi went up after Buono! started. I was (and still sort of am) a Berryz noob so immediately my favourite of the three was Airi. Of course this lead to me liking her even more in C-ute!

Okai Chisato

When I first saw Chisato I thought she had a ‘normal’-ish appearance, she had this look about her that she was more like an average girl than a Jpop idol. That’s if that even makes sense to anyone other than me xD; I can’t say she stands out a lot to me but I think it’s more that either I haven’t seen it yet or she’s not given enough of a chance to shine.

Nakajima Saki

Her voice can be a bit hit or miss at times but seriously, how pretty has she gotten?!

Hagiwara Mai

She’s just that adorable. Do I really have to say more?

Arihana Kanna

When I first got into C-ute there was something about Kanna, I couldn’t bring myself to like her and I still cannot work out why. After reading up more about her after I heard about her bunion, I came to like her more and I decided I’d pay more attention to her when she came back to C-ute. Unfortunately it’s only recently she decided to withdraw from H!P which means I miss out on that ;-; I wish her the best though!

Murakami Megumi

The one I never got to know. She seems to have been much loved before she left, so I think I’ll go back and listen to C-ute’s indies singles with her in them~

That’s my thoughts/memories of C-ute!

While I’m generally known around the net as lilmenchi, my name is Jess. I’m 17 and in year 12 at TMC. I live in Adelaide, South Australia and I won’t get any more specific than that xD; I’ve played basketball for almost 10 years now and netball for about 7. Sadly though this will be my last year as I’ll be too old next year. There isn’t a women’s basketball competition where I play but if I’m lucky I can get into a team for women’s netball.

I’ve come to a point where I seemingly spend all my free time online, mainly stalking forums, occasionally playing games like this or this, watching videos on Youtube or similar or stalking reading blogs. If I’m not doing any of those things, I’ll probably be recording for a cover group/song dub/auditioning for another song dub… xD; Oddly enough I predicted I’d have to step back from those things because I’d be too busy with school but I was wrong, all I seem to do is keep signing myself up for more and shockingly I’ve got everything balanced nicely! Apart from blogging. That I neglect. A lot.

Here’s to hoping I actually get around to posting more here so I can -maybe- start up that Maimi/Jpop blog or Shugo Chara site with Wife (<3) like we’d planned!

What I am more interested in however, is how others feel about this. If you had a friend who was 17 and was seeing a 12 year old, or knew a 12 year old who was with a 17 year old, how would you feel about it? Is that any different towards your feelings regarding Amuto? Why is it you like Amuto?

I can understand how some may be attracted to the pairing and not ever think of this, I’ll be the first to admit that Amu, without including her chest, could be mistaken as being 15, but this has been something that I’ve been curious about while I’ve been watching the show and seeing a lot of support for the pairing.

I finally bought volume seven! I’m not sure whether I regret getting them the way I did, when I got volume one it was with the box which would normally be about AUD$40, I got it for AUD$11 at a Kmart special. It seemed like an awesome deal at the time so being a tightass me, I bought it. Since then I had all sorts of problems buying the rest of the series under $30 a DVD, because no where seemed to have it for less even though it was an older series. I was really kicking myself over it when the box set came out. The series itself wasn’t the best, I discovered a little late that it was watched best in Japanese with subtitles. I have to say that the best parts of the series were the ending theme, Romancing Train, as well as Kana Ueda. Oh, and Pist, many jokes were made, plus Shark Fujishiro’s seiyuu <3 Many Ai (I), Yu (You), me jokes where made too so it wasn’t a complete waste~

It’s a Para-para dance, which means it’s not too complicated and is mainly composed of arm movements and simple leg movements. You shouldn’t quote me on that, but I think that’s the gist of it anyway. At any rate, it’s a fun dance and I’m so happy with myself for learning it. I’m so proud that I -may- upload a video of me dancing to it, but I doubt it xD

In my 101 in 1001, one of my challenges was to learn a Buono dance or Anataboshi dance by Milky Way. I’m actually aiming to learn both Rottara by Buono and Anataboshi! I started on both of them but if Boom Boom is any indictation of how long it will take to learn I probably won’t be done for a few months left on either one. The fact I’m putting this effort in makes me happy enough as it is so taking as much time as I need on them is no problem for me at all as long as I gradually make progress~ I’m half thinking of maybe aiming for a C-ute song after… but maybe something simpler will suit my skill better xD;;

Recently I picked up a game called, The World Ends With You, abbreviated to TWEWY, after a recommendation from a friend. I managed to pick it up for $25 at 2 for $50 sale at EB Games by going halves with my brother, so I practically paid half the price I was expecting to! I’m such a tightass-

At first I couldn’t help but laugh at the main concept- you have to survive 7 days or face erasure. The Ring anyone? Anyway- oddly enough I really like playing it so far. I like the battles the most, it’s just so fun to slash and attack things with the stylus. I have to say I like the music a lot, it really fits with the theme of the game and I’m really looking forward to beating it knowing that I’ll hear Lullaby for You by Jyongri at the end.

It definitely seems interesting so far, but I’m going to be playing through slowly and training and mastering my pins for the sole reason: I can.
